  1. I am looking for a secured credit card with $500 amount to help build back my credit.

  2. Hi Carrie, Have you tried the links on our site? For personal loans one of our providers should be able to assist you. Good luck, Miriam

  3. I don’t know what my credit score is but I have applied for 2credit cards in the past year and I have been denied. I currently have one credit card that I can use. I make monthly payments to it.
Is it possible for me to get a credit card with a low interest rate? I want to improve my credit score, I’m only 23

  4. Hi

First, it would be a good idea to get a credit report. If you pay on time you should be able to secure a low interest rate. Have you consulted with your bank? This could be a good first step especially if you have an existing relationship with them. I hope this helps, Miriam

  5. I just applied. Is submitting deposit a guarantee of a credit card. If declined for a card how soon will my deposit be returned
Second can payment of card payments be done through on line banking?
    Thank You

  6. Hi

We don’t approve the credit cards so you will have to wait to hear back from the credit card supplier. Who did you deposit funds with? Did you do this before speaking with someone / getting contact from the credit card provider? Thanks Miriam

  7. I haven’t deposited any funds yet, just did the online application this afternoon for Home Trust Visa
Haven’t spoken to anyone but was given the address to send the money too

  8. OK Tom. Thanks – I would ask for further information & for you to do some research on them to ensure they are legitimate. I would recommend that you contact the Credit Couselling Society – http://www.nomoredebts.org/ – to double check.
    Good luck, Miriam

  9. Is this guaranteed approval. I’m really looking to improve my credit I do have two accounts in collections. Would this hinder my approval for a cc? I don’t want an inquiry on my account if my application gets denied. Ty

  10. Hi

From our understanding, once you send through your information to the loan provider they will get in touch as they will need more information before they process the loan application. To be safe, keep some of your information incomplete so there is a need for them to get in touch before processing. Once you speak to the lender get verification if they believe this will be successful or not. I completely understand that you want to limit the number of inquiries.

    Thanks & good luck, Miriam

  11. Do I have to put the full deposit down right away? We’re a little tight on cash until Friday. One website I was on said that Home Trust can work with you on how you can do the deposit after the application is sent in. Is this true?

  12. Hi

Yes – they should be able to work with you. The best way to learn more and see how they can help is to get in touch with the lenders on our site. Normally you would be required to deposit funds once approved.

    Thanks Miriam
